The Bike Club is $19 to join, $4 of which will go toward alternative transportation improvements at the stadium including the future purchase of permanent bike racks at Ogren Park Allegiance Field. The improved bike parking will encourage more fans to use alternative transportation when attending Osprey games and other events at the stadium.
"Missoula in Motion has been proud to partner with the Missoula Osprey for Tuesday night's Bike-to-the-Ballpark over the past few years," said Missoula in Motion program specialist Ryan Newhouse. "We're even more excited to see this partnership expanded into a new, successful Bike Club."
The Osprey have offered bike related promotions and rewards for using alternative modes of transportation to the stadium for over a decade.
"The Bike-to-the-Ballpark promotion and Ogren Park's location on the River Trail System make Osprey games a special destination for Missoula's bike riders," said Osprey director of stadium of operations Byron Dike. "The Bike Club builds on that experience and offers some great incentives for its members."
For non-Bike Club members, the Osprey and Missoula in Motion will continue to partner on their Bike to the Ballpark promotion, where anyone who rides their bike to a Tuesday regular season home game will receive 2-for-1 tickets.
Registration information for the Osprey Bike Club is available at the Missoula in Motion office and the Missoula Osprey Team Store. Those interested may also call the Osprey to signup. The Missoula Osprey's home opener is set for June 25 versus Billings with their first Tuesday home game on June 29 versus Great Falls.
